Volume Public Relations Wins Bronze IABC Award
Winning business-to-business campaign demonstrates significant results
Denver, CO – June 16, 2008 –Volume Public Relations has been awarded the International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) coveted Bronze Quill Award. The award was given to VolumePR based on the media exposure VolumePR achieved for human resources professional, Mary Crane.
The winning campaign titled, “W.U? Millennial Mindset Meets Baby Boomer Bosses; Led by the Undeniable Expertise of Mary Crane,” presented the challenge of transforming a completely unknown business consultant into a nationally known “thought leader” in the human resources profession. After careful planning and strategy, VolumePR was able to secure over 280,000,000 media impressions including a segment on “60 Minutes” and coverage in the New York Times.
“Engaging in a challenge such as the Mary Crane campaign involves careful planning and strategy. You must approach the media with timely stories, clear messaging and sometimes controversial story options to achieve the level of publicity our clients enjoy,” said Elizabeth Robinson, president, founder & CEO of Volume Public Relations.
The Bronze Quill is an award that focuses on a communication challenge and the steps taken to address the situation and achieve the client’s goals. Other key factors in the winning entries are the strategy of the campaign, the budget and the measureable results.
The IABC is an international organization that aims to advance the careers of communications professionals. Founded in 1970, the IABC now has over 15,500 members in 80 countries.
